Accomplished Chef Robert Holmes has joined the superior culinary team at the Majestic Inn and Spa!
Chef Robert began his gastronomic career in 1999 at Entros Restaurant in Seattle. The skills he learned and perfected at this fine dining establishment would be the basis for his ongoing success. He sharpened his knowledge at the popular Waterfront Seafood Grill, an upscale fresh seafood concept on Pier 70. This experience allowed him to develop specialized skills in working with a raw seafood bar, sauté, pastry, charcoal broiler, and introduced him to special events and banquets. During the past several years, most of Chef Robert's time has been spent with Anthony’s Restaurant in Squalicum Harbor where he worked several positions with the family owned company, ultimately leading the team as Sous Chef until moving to the Majestic Inn.
When Chef Robert is not at the hotel he devotes his time to his wife and their six year old daughter. Together as a family they enjoy reading and taking long walks on the beach. Like most great culinarians he also enjoys cooking when he is at home; his favorite meal is preparing and grilling a great steak.
