The Majestic Inn & Spa is currently undergoing a 30-room expansion directly north of the existing main building. The new "wing" will feature beautifully decorated guestrooms, retail shops, and a roof-top event space. Key features of the new building are as follows:
- 30 guestrooms, including 9 extended-stay suites with fully stocked kitchenette
- 2,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor (tenants yet-to-be determined)
- Fitness room with the state-of-the-art fitness equipment
- 2,800 square foot roof-top event space with a sweeping views of the Rosario Straight, Mt. Baker, the San Juan Islands, and the downtown Anacortes.
The new rooms are scheduled to be available for guests in July 2013.
