SPA Etiquette
Appointments:
Please call or visit the spa in advance to make reservations for treatments. At the time of your reservation please have a credit card or gift certificate available. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days and are typically booked in advance, but please feel free to call on shorter notice as we may have had cancellations. Treatments included with a hotel package will need to be booked at the same time as your hotel reservations.
Arrival Time:
To enjoy your experience to the fullest, we recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This allows you to check in, change and enjoy the eucalyptus steam room and the Sanctuary. Please understand that your treatment will end on-time so the next guest will not be inconvenienced. Late guests will receive the time remaining of their treatment. The normal fee will remain unchanged.
Cancellations:
To avoid charges please honor our 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to full charge. No shows will be charged full price.
Attire:
Dress comfortably. Robes, towels, sandals, lockers, and shower and steam room facilities are available. Our therapists are trained to drape you appropriately for privacy during your treatments. You are welcome to bring a bathing suit for hydrotherapy treatments. Please refrain from wearing jewelry during your appointment. We also recommend bringing thong sandals to wear home after a pedicure service.
Health:
Certain treatments should not be performed on those with severe medical conditions or those who are pregnant. Please notify the staff when you are making an appointment of any health issues that may be of concern. Some conditions may require a doctor’s approval.
Special Considerations:
To maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, we ask that cellular phones and pagers be turned off and left in your locker. Complimentary snacks, tea and lemon water are available in the Sanctuary. Spa meals and beverages are also available for purchase. Most of our treatments are suitable for individuals 13 or older with parental consent. We ask that children do not accompany you for treatments. Generally, a 15 to 20% gratuity is appropriate and subject to your discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived as inappropriate by any member of our staff. Your feedback is essential in providing you with the best service possible. We encourage you to communicate with our staff regarding your comfort and experience.
